They will remember THESE Christmas gifts! / NEID jõulukinke nad ei unusta!

I will not bore you with a well curated gallery of nice gifts. (Although I love to watch those pictures when someone else has posted them!)

Here is just a very practical list of last minute presents. Satisfaction guaranteed.

For the father:

Get him a newspaper subscription so he always has something to hide behind when mom starts bothering her with the endless talks.

For the mother:

Get her nice empty jars with lids. So she can make more jam and pickles for you next year.

For the boyfriend/husband:

Get him a scratchy scarf. Maybe this will finally make him understand how valuable cashmere and silk really is.

For the girlfriend/wife:

Give her a gift voucher for a whole day with you. No concert, no spa, no restaurant, just you two. She always says she wants to spend more time with you – well, she’ll get it!

For your kids:

Give them a month without all the gadgets. (OK, I see you rolling your eyes… make it two weeks). Tell them they’ll thank you when they have grown up.

For the colleagues:

Give them empty boxes. Tell them that these are for their ideas and thoughts. Let’s see if they can fill it up.

For the brother:

Buy him 6 pairs of socks that are exactly the same kind. He’ll not have to worry about the odd socks any more. (And where DO the socks disappear from the washing machine? We’ll have to explore that topic some time later…)

For the sister:

Buy her a huge bag of sea salt. It’ll give her life a little flavour (I mean cooking). It makes an excellent body scrub when mixed with olive oil and you can also add it to the bath water. Cheap and chic (well, practical).

All the other dear people in your life:

Gather a bucketful of stones (you can find them on the beach, in the countryside, somewhere in the city, too, I’m sure). Give everyone a stone and tell them that every time they look at it they’ll think of you. What a nice personal gift! It might happen, though, that someone will want to throw that stone into the windows of your house. Be prepared.

Don’t forget to wrap the present in style!

And now you’re ready for Christmas. You are very welcome and you can thank me later.

But seriously: what kind of presents have you already prepared this year? We have all the presents sitting under the Christmas tree and I secretly go and shake them from time to time (to get to know what’s inside). Haven’t guessed much so far.

****************************

(Vaatan küll hea meelega teiste postitatud pilte sellel teemal!)

Siin on teile praktiline nimekiri viimase hetke kinkidest. Rahulolu garanteeritud!

Isale:

Kingi talle ajalehe aastatellimus. Siis on tal alati käepärast leht, mille taha varjuda, kui ema teda tüütute teemadega pommitama hakkab.

Emale:

Lastele:

Kingi neile kuu aega ilma nutiseadmeteta (arvutita, telekata…).

Me peame seda teemat hiljem edasi uurima…)
