Blue, black and white. / Sinine, must ja valge.

These are the colours of the the national flag of Estonia.

And the colours of the fall. But only on some days. On the days when it’s not all grey and the sun comes out.

When you look up at the sky on such days, you see the beauty of the black trees without leaves. The blue sky and white clouds give the dark trees the most amazing background.

The American essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson (who’s work I am actually not even familiar with, but I really like the quote) has said: “The sky is the daily bread of the eyes.” I have to agree.

So let’s enjoy it before the winter comes!

At least here, in Estonia, the winter should bring A LOT of snow. And it may get as cold as -32 degrees Celsius (-25.6F). Did I shock you? (I hope I did…) Well, it of course depends on where you live.

*******************************

Need on Eesti rahvuslipu värvid.

Just eile vaatasin paari aasta taguseid suure lumega jõulupilte ja väike lumeigatsus tikkus ligi küll…)
